WASH is a three years project undertaken in 6 schools. The schools are identified after a need assessment
is done, to ensure viability of the project in the identified school. The meeting between Pioneer and the relevant
school management is done to agree on how to undertake the activities on the identified gaps from the needs assessment
report. Meetings are done regularly during the implementation to evaluate the progress of the project.
Objectives
• Improved access to safe water and sanitation solutions in 6 schools and children in Laikipia and Nyeri counties.
• Enhanced knowledge and practice on sustainable water usage in home gardening
